Whether you are a nanny looking for work, or a family who needs childcare, NannyNJ is a simple process. If you find that it isn't, please tell us and we'll fix it!
NannyNJ is a venue where families can post a job announcement with specific requirements, and nannies can post a detailed list of their qualifications and job preferences. NannyNJ is not a nanny agency - it is up to the family to interview the nanny, determine if the nanny is right for their family, and check references. Posting in NannyNJ is just like posting in the newspaper, except that YOU have the power to quickly sort through responses and find the perfect match!
Step 1: Create an account
The first thing to do is create your NannyNJ account. We'll ask you some simple questions about yourself and setup your profile.
Step 2: The Nanny Interview
The nanny interview is a series of questions that you answer online. This is where we get into the nitty-gritty of what you are looking for. If you're a family searching for a nanny, we'll ask you to describe your vision of the perfect nanny. If you're a nanny looking for a job, we'll ask you about your experience and job requirements. Either way, it's a simple, painless process that can be completed in just a few minutes.
Once you complete the nanny interview, the "matching" process begins. Our system automatically searches for nannies/jobs that perfectly fit your responses.
Step 3: Notification Options
Next, we'll ask you if you would like to receive daily or weekly emails with prospective matches. We will NEVER EVER sell or give out your information to other companies, and that is a promise.
Step 4: Find your perfect match
Every day, our system will check to see if any new matches come up. In the meantime, you can search through all of our listings with an advanced search engine. Your matches will completely depend on how you set your search criteria.
